After and afternoon of work and some rearranging so the plants can get full sun while the umbrella is open.
Looks like I over fertilized my first batch of radishes, the leaves are big and strong but the radish part is lacking. When the soil is too rich this will happen, so I will remix the soil and try another batch. Forever learning :)
Good day for gardening! Broke down and brought the umbrella outside, spending enough time outdoors where I need that extra protection from the sun.
The peas are reaching the trellis. They are really growing like mad in this seasonally appropriate, cool April weather.

Close up of the borage. Will probably have to thin these out a bit more, that’s definitely something I’m learning with gardening, the need to thin out the seedlings so they have more real estate to grow. It’s hard to do cause I am just so happy everything showed up!

Check out the kale today! It is Lacinato kale aka dinosaur kale and it’s starting to take form!
Kale! Hopefully it can get enough growing time in before it gets to hot as kale prefers the cool weather. Will definitely plant some more in the fall.
